The Business Cooperation Center “Armenia-BRICS” in Yerevan

The main platform for developing business and economic ties between Armenia and BRICS+ countries

The history of the Center’s establishment

The launch of the Business Cooperation Center “Armenia-BRICS” took place on August 8, 2024, in Yerevan as part of the International Forum “New Horizons of Cooperation between Armenia and the EAEU with BRICS and SCO.” The forum brought together leading representatives from government bodies, the business community, and academic circles, highlighting the importance of creating such a platform to deepen economic and business cooperation.

The initiator of the Center’s establishment was Mher Vardanovich Avetisyan, a public figure, philanthropist, and leader of the Movement “My Country — My Armenia.” His vision and commitment to fostering mutually beneficial relations between Armenia and the BRICS, CIS, and SCO countries formed the foundation of the Center’s concept, which is designed to become a key tool for implementing ambitious economic projects.

The establishment of the Center was driven by the growing role of BRICS+ countries in the global economy and the need to integrate Armenian businesses into global markets. Armenia’s cooperation with BRICS+ opens up new horizons for exporting Armenian products, attracting investments, and creating new jobs.

The main task of the Center is to create favorable conditions for doing business, promote bilateral trade, attract investments, and develop educational programs
The Center also facilitates the exchange of knowledge and technologies, enabling the enhancement of the competitiveness of the Armenian economy on the international stage
